Farah said about her friendship with Shahrukh, ‘We worked together for the first time in 1991. We were in Goa at that time. I had read Shahrukh Khan’s interview in which he seemed very arrogant. I was scared before meeting him. Kundan Shah introduced us. At that time I felt that I could easily work with Shahrukh.’

Apart from this, Farah Khan said about the film Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, ‘The budget of that film was very low. Shahrukh was given Rs 25,000 for that film and I was paid the highest amount in that film. I was paid Rs 5000 for each song and there were six songs in it, so I got Rs 30,000. We could not even hire an assistant, so for that entire song ‘Aana Mere Pyar Ko’ we hired common people from Goa.
